MetalliQ is a fork by OpenELEQ (the guy who brought us the ExtendedInfo Script Mod) of the Meta addon. This fork now also allows you to search for music and music videos using LastFM & the AudioDB as well as the TVBd & TVMd for content.

OpenELEQ has added a one click setup for libraries and players which takes a few steps out of the setup for you. You will need to select your favourite players or go with the selector.


This is a third party addon that is not supported by the Kodi Team. Do not post questions relating to this addon on the Kodi Forums (forums.kodi.tv). For support use the devs forum post

Steps To Install:

  • Open Kodi
  • Select SYSTEM > File Manager
  • Select Add Source
  • Select None
  • Type the following EXACTLY http://ift.tt/210ya4m and select Done
  • Highlight the box underneath Enter a name for this media Source, type OpenELEQ & Select OK
  • Go back to your Home Screen
  • Select SYSTEM
  • Select addons
  • Select Install from zip file
  • Select OpenELEQ
  • Select repository.q.zip
  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification
  • Select Install from Repository or Get addons (on Helix)
  • Select Qs Repository
  • Select Video Add-ons
  • Select MetalliQ
  • Select Install
  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification
  • The addon is now installed but need a little configuring. Select MetalliQ aattain
  • Select Configure
  • In General select Totalsetup
  • The automatic setup will now begin. This will enable all players and setup the music/tv/music library – if you have one; If not it will say those 3 failed but will not cause you any issues
  • Wait for the setup to finish
  • Select Movies > Preferred movie player
  • Choose which addon you prefer to use or just select Selector to be given the option of choosing any addon when the content is listed. Repeat this process in the other tabs for your Music, TV shows etc.
  • Select OK to save your changes

MetalliQ is now setup and ready to use. Open the addon choose the type of content you wish to stream and then use one of the possible options: trending, top rated etc or just do a search and watch the addon in action
