Dropbox adds a document scanner and a bunch of new productivity features

Dropbox is getting a hefty update today with a new set of productivity tools and features. Perhaps most usefully, you’ll now be able to use the Dropbox mobile app to scan documents such as receipts, whiteboards and more. If you have a business account, you’ll be able to search inside the scans too. Dropbox is also integrating more tightly with Microsoft Office. Click on the new plus button to create a new Word, PowerPoint or Excel file right from the Dropbox app. They’ll automatically be configured to sync with your account, of course.
